To teach ‘equality’, Serena Williams gets a black doll for her daughter!

To teach about the trait of equality, world tennis star Serena Williams has gotten a black doll for her daughter Alexis Olympia. The black doll is named Qai Qai.
The name Qai Qai was inspired by Williams nephew’s name.

As being reported, 37-year-old Williams mentioned that she never had a black doll and she made sure that her daughter gets one. And also that the second doll Alexis Olympia will be getting is going to be a white one!

Reportedly, Serena Williams has mentioned, “Qai Qai is a doll I got for her”.
She further added, “Growing up I didn’t have that many opportunities to have black dolls. And I was just thinking like, I want her first doll to be black.”
Talking about her daughter being a Caucasian, Williams added, “Obviously she’s mixed, she’s Caucasian and black, but I feel like that was her first doll and I said her second doll would be Caucasian.”
Qai Qai is seen everywhere along with the family and even has her own official Instagram page. The celebrity doll has over 87,000 followers. So far she has made 68 posts, and even follows a few people, including Venus Williams.

On Tuesday, the official WTA tour Instagram page also posted a video of Qai Qai riding the electronic umpire chair used at the Australian Open.
