19-year-old rapper displays names of children killed by Israeli airstrikes during his live performace
US rapper Redveil called for a ceasefire in Gaza and his recent performance at the concert went viral on social media for displaying the names of names of Palestinian toddlers killed by Israeli airstrikes.
last weekend, Rapper Marcus Morton (who goes by his stage name Redveil) was performing at Camp Flog Gnaw in Loss Angeles, one of the biggest music festivals in America when he took a moment to display the names of all Palestinian children who have been killed by Israeli attacks in the besieged enclave since Oct 7.
The names list ended with the display of the website ceasefiretoday.com, which provides a list of ways Americans can pressurise their governments to end the genocide of Gaza.
‘It’s not complicated, don’t let nobody tell you that s***,” the 19-year-old rapper told the crowd. “Go to this f***ing website right now, call your reps, demand a f***ing ceasefire.”
The video of Redveil‘s gesture in the name of humanity went viral on social media.

This is unprecedented. That moment we'd been waiting for; that cultural shift which delegitimizes Israel and will lead to it's dismantling; of unapologetic calls for liberation— is upon us. Who would've imagined such crowds in the US screaming Free Palestine even 5 years ago?! https://t.co/CIJTmeDiVk
