Sindh reports 303 new coronavirus cases, 10 deaths

Sindh reports 303 new coronavirus cases on Sunday.

According to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, 303 coronavirus cases and 10 deaths were reported in the province during the past 24 hours.

In a statement, CM said 8,288 tests were carried out. With the new cases, the provincial total has surged to 123,849 while the death toll is 2,272.

He further added that 5,836 patients were currently under treatment.

A day earlier, at least 487 fresh coronavirus cases were reported overnight in the province.

Furthermore, the Sindh government and health experts on Saturday explored the possibility of reopening all businesses, including eateries, as well as educational institutes across Sindh from September 15, in light of the decisions made during a recent National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting and an apparent decline in Covid-19 cases.

Addressing a provincial coronavirus taskforce meeting, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that a final decision would only be made after authorities reassessed the situation in the first week of September.
