Bandish 2 Episode-4 Review: The necromancer gives Farhana an alternate solution

ARY Digital drama serial Bandish2 is 4 episodes down, although it’s not much of a horror play. But one gets invested in the story and there are some spooky vibes for that we should give full credit to the background score. Performances are good but we see less margin of performance for actors like Affan Waheed. In the previous episode, we saw black magic showing its power. In this episode, we are wondering if is it actually black magic or something else.

The Necromancer in the guise of a typical Peer (Salluddin Tunio) calls Farhana to his den and there he starts putting his demands in front of her. He is asking her for a hefty amount of money which she is unable to pay. The necromancer in a very serious tone tells her that it will be very difficult for him to continue his black magic spells as there is a supernatural machinery at work that requires money as their fuel.

The necromancer gives Farhana an alternate solution that if she cannot give him the money then she needs to perform a task on someone’s behalf. Some rich guy needs to do some black magic practices late at night at a graveyard and for that, he needs someone who can perform that task on his behalf he will pay a handsome amount in reward. We were expecting that Farhana Chachi will accept this task but to our surprise she excuses herself. Peer says that he is left with no choice but to stop his procedure and magic spell.

Well since the necromancer has clearly refused to continue the magic process then it makes us wonder if whatever spooky scene going on at Sameer’s house is a result of black magic or if is there some other supernatural force at work. The paranormal activities continue to happen at Sameer’s house. Waniya is scared she is not even ready to send Hooriya to school.

Minahil sees Hooriya’s duplicate like what Waniya saw while playing hide and seek, and it created a lot of scenes in the house making us wonder which force is behind it. Minahil follows the duplicate Hooriya and goes out of the house when in real Hooriya has locked herself in a captain box it made Waniya furious but then we see her listening to Minahil and able to understand her much better than her own mother just because she herself faced similar incident. Arman is eager to get Rabail recruited in his office seems like he might be interested in her. Why Rabail is trusting her Chachi more than her own brother and family? Less spooky and more like a family drama
