The much anticipated horror drama serial starring Sara Khan finally went on air on Thursday and we must say we’ve been hooked with the very first episode. We’re now intrigued to know more ASAP. The very first episode set the mood of the drama.

What we really liked about Bela Pur Ki Dayan is the fact that this seems to be a mature story even if its horror. Usually, we have been bombarded with possessed children or scary dolls in terms of horror dramas but Bela Pur Ki Dayan is certainly different. Not only will it be horror, but this one is going to be an interesting story, more mature and with good content.

The play is well written by Inam Hasan and brilliantly directed by Saif E Hassan. Each scene has been executed with brilliance, each frame perfect. The background score is another amazing factor for this particular drama because it falls in line with the situations, setting the mood of the play. The locations are also well suited to the theme and once you watch it, the elements translate into a very engaging story onscreen.

Lets begin with the episode, Tasha’s father enters into the mansion they are about to shift into. The mansion has a  haunted feel and it takes Tasha’s father into his childhood memories which do not seem pleasant . It seems he has his own long story which needs to get unfold. Tasha’s mother is not at all willing to shift to the mansion as she has reservations that the place has been abandoned from such a long time.

After some insistence, Tasha’s father manages to convince her and they shift. However, as soon as they’re settled, the family starts to face strange incidents. It is Tasha who has been haunted by the house most, she feels it inside her, all the negative energies.

Tasha’s dupatta got on fire and Rameez’s son also saw reflections in the pond which made him unconscious. There are multiple more incidents and everybody feels something is not right. The drama ends on a scary note when Tasha sees the shadow of a girl sitting in a corner of her room after having woken up from a deep sleep.

And now the drama has left us intrigued because we really wan’t to know more. Right now we’re liking Sara Khan in her new character. She’s beautiful and looks ethereal as Tasha. Lets see what happens next week. We’re hooked onto Bela Pur Ki Dayan for now!
