Ek Jhoota Lafz Mohabbat Ep 13 Review: Areesha is using all her tactics to get Maaz

The play Ek Jhoota Lafz Mohabbat airing at Express TV has turned quite toxic with a very disturbing theme of sister rivalry. The performances are good, Junaid Khan and Aminah Ilays have given their best performances but it is the narrative of the story which is a huge turn-off. In the previous episode, we have seen Areesha eyeing Maaz and in this episode, she is using all her tactics to seek Maaz’s attention.

Despite Areesha and Maaz’s mother’s all attempts to entice Maaz, Maaz is trying to keep himself safe from all this. He knows that he is now married and reality is different. He is honest with his wife and wants to stay loyal to her. He brings Gajray but when Areeshay says is it for her he simply says that no it is for Aleeza.

Areesha is portrayed as a cold-blooded vile person who does not care about anything, who does not have any scruples. Aleeza is her sister she is the one who has given her shelter, she is the one who is helping her out but she is so shameless that she is eyeing her husband and she is after her home. She wants to ruin her married life and wants to marry her husband.

Areesha is a hypocrite, she has so many faces. In front of her phupho and Maaz’s sister, she is trying to be all good and pious but in her head, she is planning to steal Maaz. Aleeza gathers some courage and steps forward saying that she wants to accompany Maaz for his corporate dinner as only couples are invited. Areesha poses that as if she has no issue with this, she happily helps Aleeza to get ready but deep inside she is burning with envy. On the other side, Phupho is also not happy which is so pathetic.

Areesha now plays her tactic to gain Maaz’s attention, right when Aleeza and Maaz are stepping out of the house Areesha creates a drama of falling from the step and getting her feet hurt. Maaz leaves everything and takes her to the hospital. Areesha is so vile that she is doing all this drama so that she can cling to Maaz. Even Aleeza has realized that Areesha is creating a drama she sees that how tightly she has to hold Maaz’s hand on top of that the toxic phupho is facilitating Areesha too but it is Maaz who takes himself out of this situation. Areesha now confesses in front of her Phupho that her heart still beats for Maaz.
