Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi Last Episode Review: End cannot justify the irresponsible story telling

Baba Sahab takes his own life

Ary Digital’s drama serial Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi has finally come to its conclusion and it seems like a massive hit. Thank God the makers of the drama have not shown a happy ending but still, it is not a just ending from Mahek’s point of view why the victim has to suffer? By Killing Shamsher they have glorified him more. Despite having such irresponsible storytelling this play has garnered massive views. Performances are also brilliant. Congratulations to Team Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi for the massive success.

The episode begins when Baba Sahab is ready to pay for his sins. He has decided to confess all his crimes through a Press Conference. Dara and his lawyer are conducting this Press Conference and in the mid of it, they hear a shot fired. Dara knows exactly what has happened. Baba Sahab has taken his own life. Well, the end is justified from Baba Sahab’s point of view but poor Dara he does not deserves this.

Baba Sahab names half of the entire property after Mahek. Mahek is shocked and surprised to hear his will. Mahek refuses to take this property and tells him that she wants to give all the property to charity. Well, Mahek’s decision may sound good but it is not wise this property has her child’s right too how can she deprive her child of his grandfather’s wealth?

Well it would have been great if we have seen Dara and Farwah consoling Mahek but no we get to see Sofia out of nowhere visiting Mahek. She seeks her forgiveness for all her past conduct. Mahek whole heartily forgives her. Ahesun and Nida have also become a happy couple and miraculously Ahesun’s mother also has a change of heart, the reason why seems like Shamsher’s untimely death has also shaken her. She is now being nice to Nida. All is well that ends well.

The ending cannot justify the very irresponsible storytelling where a toxic man turns into a good guy and all his sins get absolved. In fact, after his death, he has been glorified as a hero and actually it is the victim who suffers. Why Mahek has to suffer all this pain and separation? We have seen Mahek stating that she still remembers what she has gone through and she is making sure that her son won’t get like Shamsher but she names her son after him. Mahek once again confesses that she loves Shamsher from the core of her heart. Anyways besides being such a problematic story, the play was quite engaging and the number of massive views it got is proof of it. Shamsher and Mahek will be missed.
