Khuda Aur Mohabbat EP-33 Review: Mahi’s family finds out about her and Farhad
The latest episode of KAM begins with Sikandar still searching for Romana. He wants to find her as soon as possible before his marriage to Mahi. He thinks she made a mistake in recognizing the love she had for him.
Romana pines for Sikandar and continues to be restless. She asks Chandaji to take her to see Farhad so she can get some sense of peace.
Mahi asks Sahiba to see Farhad one last time before her marriage to Sikandar. Romana meets Farhad and asks him to pray for her.
Fakeera comes along with Mahi and Sahiba to the shrine and is surprised to Farhad alive. Sahiba asks her to not tell anyone about him.
Mahi asks Farhad to go back home. She tells him she couldn’t be in this lifetime but in the next life, she would pray to be with him. Farhad tells her he has to fulfill the faqeer’s responsibilities. Once he comes back, Farhad will return home.
Romana listens to Mahi and Farhad’s conversation. She tells her she has realized Mahi and her are nothing in the name of love. There have been so many like them. Romana says she now respects Mahi more and will always pray for her and Farhad.
One of Nazim Shah’s men listens to Mahi and Farhad’s conversation. He tells him the whole thing. Upon hearing this Nazim Shah is furious.
He slaps Sahiba and tells his family about Mahi and Sahiba and why they went to the shrine that day.
The episode ends with Mahi’s family confronting her who stays quiet in response. They decide to get her married to Sikandar as soon as possible.
The episode finally brought some much-needed pace that the previous episodes lacked. It looks like the story will gather momentum now and we will get to see some interesting developments. The performances and writing remain exceptional.
