Kuch Ankahi Episode-22 Review: At least Aaliya is not confused with her feelings for Salman
Samia decides to end her so called marriage
Kuch Ankahi the ARY Digital drama serial has our hearts. The story beautifully tucked in messages and nuances are what make Muhammad Ali the best writer. For those who miss PTV-era dramas, Kuch Ankahi is a must-watch for them. In the previous episode, we have been confused because Aaliya was giving mixed signals but in this episode, it is clear that at least Aaliya is not confused with her feelings for Salman.
Asfar gives Aaliya a bigger car and a mobile phone as a job perk. Aaliya is not feeling comfortable accepting the car but then she gets convinced when Asfar says that it is the job perk he would have offered to any person in her position. The way Aaliya is honking the car in front of her house to gain attention looks cute but she also has a mixed kinda expression she is also feeling a bit uncomfortable and shy to break this news.
Salman’s reaction is a natural part of him is happy and in a kinda celebratory mood but part of him also feels extremely insecure that he might going to lose her. He is rightly anticipating that Asfar might take interest in her as well so the good part is that he expressed his heart out in front of Aaliya in a cute way. Their chemistry is what makes us root for them as a couple and it also makes me wonder can a woman fall in love with two men. At least Aaliya is clear with her feelings for Salman.
Samia is happy with her being financially independent and we see that she has also started growing a spine. The heartwarming scene is to see Saima’s mother-in-law’s changed attitude towards her but at the same time, the heartbreaking part is Saif’s indifference for her. It seemed like he has started liking her but no he wants to be with Shagufta. The brave step Samia takes is she has decided to leave her so-called marriage.
What actually happened with Mona is not clear but it is hinted that she has been harassed by an influential University administration personnel. It is also shown that Tania has started taking a stand for Mona on social media as a result she is facing the backlash in form of abduction threats not only her but her parents are also getting threatening calls. The way Salman and Thanvi handle this situation makes this play a wholesome watch. Each scene in Kuch Ankahi is to cherish.
