Pinjra Episode-26 Review: We see a glimpse of hope in Javaid’s character

Khadija meets Umar's mother and plead her to forgive Abhaan

ARY Digital’s drama serial Pinjra is one excellent serial everyone needs to watch. Not just perfect one-on-one parenting but it features much more than that. Performances are all superb particularly this episode belongs to Omair Rana. In the previous episode, we saw a positive change in Abhaan’s behaviour. In this episode, we have seen a glimpse of hope in Javaid’s character.

Arsalaan calls Javaid and Khadija both at his office for Abhaan. He aims for some kind of reconciliation but things get ugly when they both start arguing loudly and Javaid, as usual, ends up blaming Wajiha for his failed marriage on which Arsalaan loses his cool as a counsellor. He tries to put some sanity in Javaid’s head by telling him what Wajiha has to do with it.

Well, it seems that Javaid is a bit moved by Arsalan’s reasoning. That meeting ended on a bad note but we see a glimpse of hope and change in Javaid when he revisits Arsalan and actually, he apologizes for the remarks he made for Wajiha! That’s a big change in Javaid he has actually started reflecting on his conduct. He bits opens up with Arsalaan sharing his own point of view and perception of how he struggled for making his family stand but failed.

Abhaan and Azaan’s meeting is really very important. Although we have witnessed a positive change in Abhaan still his resentment of his elder brother is still very much evident. This shows how comparing two siblings all the time can result in such kind of feelings and ruin sibling camaraderie. Dua coincidentally receives Arsalaan’s call for Wajiha on her phone and she hears all his sincere feelings for her mother but still, Dua does not try to tell her mother to actually think about this guy, how selfish of Dua!

Khadija goes to meet Umar’s mother at her place. Umar’s mother, unlike her husband, seems a sensible woman she meets with Khadija but when she tells her that she is Abhaan’s mother she asks her to leave. Khadija manages to make her listen to what she is trying to say. Khadija pleads with Umar’s mother to forgive her son as he is just a minor and he has not committed any sin. She further tells her how her husband is buying justice, how he had bribed their lawyer. Umar’s mother softens a bit but she asks Khadija to leave. Hoping that Umar’s mother will question her husband on his conduct. Excellent play!
