Comedian Hasan Minhaj responds after Netflix blocked an episode of Patriot Act
Stand-up comic, Hasan Minhaj, who is best known for his hilarious web series Patriot Act, has responded to the recent incident. Netflix had an episode of his show banned for criticizing the Saudi Government.
According to reports, the episode was taken down after a legal notice was received from the Saudi Arabian government.
The comedian took to Twitter over the news of the ban and gave a sarcastic take on the subject.
“Clearly, the best way to stop people from watching something is to ban it, make it trend online, and then leave it up on YouTube. Let’s not forget that the world’s largest humanitarian crisis is happening in Yemen right now. Please donate”, wrote the comedian in his tweet.
