Simmba will be Ranveer Singh’s biggest masala film,” Rohit Shetty

Ranveer Singh, is a mad mad actor! A man, whose bursting energy knows no bounds. Ranveer Singh, is a live wire and his performances depict he is one sensational actor as well. After delivering one hit after another and wooing audience with his savage performance in Padmaavat, Ranveer Singh has teamed up with Golmaal franchise famed director Rohit Shetty for upcoming film Simmba.

Simmba is scheduled to release on December 28th and considering how the film marks the very first collaboration between the equally crazy and entertaining director Rohit Shetty and the oh-so-cool actor Ranveer Singh, we’re expecting the film to be a full on entertainment package.

And expectations go sky high when the director expects the same from his actor as well. While talking to the media recently, Rohit Shetty opened up about working with Ranveer Singh.

“Ranveer is a fabulous new-age actor. With this film, he will be able to display his range as a commercial star. Simmba is his biggest out-and-out masala film and I have full faith in it,” said Rohit.

Although the film is said to be a remake of Temper, Rohit Shetty claims he has only taken a few inspirational plot points from the actual film. The Golmaal director claims how Simmba is his best written film to date.

Ranveer Singh will be playing the role of a notorious cop in Simmba and is paired opposite debutante Sara Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan’s daughter.
