‘Venom 2’ gets a new release date

The sequel of the block buster hit movie Venom released in 2018 has got a new date to be released. Venom 2 will be out on June 25, 2021 as per the new schedule announced. The movie was originally set to hit theaters on October 2nd.

The most anticipated film’s released date has been pushed further to summer 2021 in the wake of coronavirus pandemic that has delayed releases of numerous upcoming movies.

It is also to be noted , Tom Hardy starrer has also got new title and will be now officially known as ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage.’

The actor will reprise his titular role as the ‘Spider-Man’ villain who is known for his notorious activities.

On the other hand, Michelle Williams will also be reprising her role as his love interest, Anne Weying. Meanwhile, the character of Carnage will be acted by Woody Harrelson who originally appeared during the post-credit scene of the movie’s prequel.

Venom 2 has a new release date of June 25, 2021, taking the date that was vacated  by The Batman, which will now open on October 1, 2021.
