X-Men 97 series hit four million views in five days on Disney+

The series score 97% on Rotten Tomatoes

The X-Men 97 series has hit four million views in five days on Disney+.

The season one of “X-Men ’97” follows up on “X-Men: The Animated Series,” which ran on Fox Kids from 1992 to 1997.

The new series follows the X-Men through new challenges after losing their leader, Professor Charles Xavier. 

According to Disney,  X-Men 97 marks the streamer’s most-watched Season 1 premiere for a full-length animated series since Marvel’s “What If…?” that debuted in 2021.

According to internal streaming data, the premiere episode of “X-Men ’97” brought in 4 million views globally within its first 5 days on the streamer.

The views put “X-Men ’97” ahead of shows including “Iwájú” and “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” while the animated shorts, such as “Star Wars: Visions,” “I Am Groot” and “Zootopia+” are excluded from this count.

The series has received positive reviews, scoring 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The star cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler.
