Lahooti Festival to kickstart in Hyderabad on 3rd and 4th March 2018
Literary and Eat (Food) festivals have entertained Lahories and Karachites for quite long, now its time to come up with an other type of festivity that celebrates music, dance, poetry, in short celebrate all forms of art. Called Lahooti Melo, the annual festival started five years ago, will begin this year on the 3rd and 4th March 2018.
This year marks the 3rd edition of the Lahooti Melo. The last two festivals have received a lot of warmth so this time a huge audience is once again looking forward to the festival. This time the Lahooti Melo will be hosting lots of stars who will talk about music, dance, poetry and arts and will conduct work shops.
Keeping their tradition of unconventional film marketing, the team of Cake, namely Aaminah Sheikh, Sanam Saeed and Adnan Malik will be very much a part of this festival where they will promote their movie. Besides movies, veterans will be advocating for music curriculum. We will see Khalid Anam as one of the speakers for the same. Moreover, Jami Mehmood, whose much loved film Moor won international awards, will also grace this event and will carry a discussion along with Noor ul Huda Shah and Timothy Patrick of folklore finesse; the topic of the discussion will be why do writers/producers dress old tales in new clothes and how filmmakers (for instance Padmaavat) struggle in presenting old stories.

The band Aaroh, Laal, Irfan and Zoe, Abbas Ali Khan, Abid Brohi and Humera Channa along with other celebrities will also be part of this festival on the 3rd and 4th of March 2018 in Hyderabad.
