Met Gala 2019 red carpet looks
Met Gala’s red carpet is known for bringing some of the most daring fashion statements every year.
The charity benefit has a rich history of attracting risqué outfits. Unbelievingly, it costs aloft of $30,000 a head to attend this event.
This year’s Met Gala’s theme was “Camp: Notes on Fashion”. In regards to paying homage to Susan Sontag’s essay of the same name.
Sontag defines camp as: “A sensibility that revels in artifice, stylization, theatricalization, irony, playfulness, and exaggeration rather than content.”
So this will give you the idea why many of the celebrities were extravagantly dressed for the occasion this year.
The most dramatic costume belonged to Lady Gaga, who in fact wore four outfits for the Met Gala red carpet.

The couple who met at the previous Met Gala, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were center of attention for this year’s Met Gala red carpet. Though people are not much pleased with Priyanka’s outfit as reactions are making rounds on social media.
