New academic year in Sindh’s schools to start from April 15

The new academic year in Sindh schools will start on April 15, 2023.

According to the Sindh Education Department, the new academic year in the public and private schools across Sindh will commence on April 15, 2024.

Meanwhile, the academic year in Sindh’s colleges will begin on August 1, 2024.

The announcement was made after the meeting of a lower committee of the provincial steering committee,  on Monday, headed by Sindh Caretaker Education Minister Rana Hussain.

The spokesperson stated that the matriculation and intermediate exams will be started from the last week of May 2024, while the results will be announced on July 31 and the second week of August, respectively.

Meanwhile, last year’s schedule for the summer and winter vacations will be followed next year.

Furthermore, a 15-day training programme will be organised for the teachers during the summer vacation.
