5th of February announced general holiday, to observe “Kashmir Solidarity Day”

Tomorrow, 5th of February has been declared as a Public Holiday to observe the ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day”, by the federal government of Pakistan.

A public holiday will be observed by all Provincial Governments including Gilgit-Baltistan, AJ&K and Islamabad Capital Territory. One-minute silence on 5th February 2019 at 10:00 hours is also being request in this regard.

‘General Public is also requested to observe one-minute silence, honoring the martyrs of Kashmir for their struggle for independence’, says the press release received from Ministry of Interior here today.

Pakistan and Azad Kashmir observe Kashmir Day on February 5 every year, showing their support for the people in Indian-Administered Kashmir. Pakistan actively criticizes the ongoing atrocities of India’s Border Security Force in Kashmir.
