Aleem Khan removes ‘PTI’ from his Twitter handle!

It seems like the politician and entrepreneur hailing from Punjab has unofficially made the confirmation of leaving Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI).

Abdul Aleem Khan has been replaced PTI by Abdul Aleem Khan from his Twitter handle.

While doing so,  the blue tick of his official account has also been removed it emerges on March 29.

Well, the internet never forgets!

A screenshot of his previous tweet available on the internet shows Aleem Khan’s old account title and verified blue tick.

Aleem Khan, who held the portfolio of Senior Minister of Punjab and Minister of Food, tendered his resignation from the post last month.

“I have persuaded him that in order to maintain his neutrality with regard to his news channel SAMAA News, it is necessary for me not to hold any government post,” he tweeted at that time.

Aleem Khan further added that “I am grateful to him for accepting my request. I am sending my resignation to the Chief Minister of Punjab.”

However, the unfolding events revealed the rift between Aleem Khan and PTI members.

Estranged PTI leader Aleem Khan has arrived in London earlier this month and had a meeting with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.

A news source has claimed that Aleem Khan may be the PML-N candidate for Punjab Chief Minister, while, the Jahangir Tareen group will also support Aleem Khan.

Pakistani politics seems to have reached the most complex level!
