COVID-19: 11 more positive cases reported in Punjab

The confirmed cases in the province have risen to 419, with 11 new positive cases reported on Friday.

According to the provincial health department spokesperson Qaiser Asif, all the patients were being kept in isolation wards and urged the people to follow precautionary measures to curb the spread of the disease.

Earlier on Thursday, Punjab reported one more death from the novel coronavirus taking the death toll to three while three new cases were also confirmed in the province.

“We are doing our best to contain the virus and need the full support of the citizens. Please stay indoors and follow the guidelines issued by the government,” Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said in a tweet on Thursday.

The details of the cases in Punjab is as following: DGK quarantine has 207 cases, Multan Quarantine 19, Lahore 103, Gujrat 22, Gujranwala 8, Jhelum 19, Rawalpindi 14, Multan 3, Faisalabad 3, Mandibahuddin 3, Mianwali 2 and Narowal, RYK, Sargodha, Attock and Bahawalnagar have 1 case each.
