Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan tenders resignation as Punjab CM’s aide

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has tendered her resignation as Punjab CM’s aide on Friday.

Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buszar on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan in a statement said that he was tendering her resignation for personal reasons.

She also thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for expressing trust in her.

As per the news source, Dr. Awan directly sent her resignation letter to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, who has accepted her resignation.

Earlier in the day, Awn Chaudhry resigned as an adviser to CM Punjab Usman Buzdar.

According to the news source, that Awn Chaudhry stepped down over charges of lobbying against the incumbent government.
