Forecast of heavy rains in Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan

Westerly winds may prevail in the central and southern parts of the country which will last till the first week of May.

The Meteorological Department forecast heavy rains in Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan!

According to the MET department, westerly winds may enter the country from Wednesday evening or night, while rains will start in different parts of the country from tomorrow.

Rain and hail may occur in many parts of the country during this month and next month.

According to the Department of Meteorology, Karachi is likely to receive 15 to 30 mm of rainfall.

While there is a possibility of drizzle in the city, between April 28 and May 1.

The metropolis is likely to receive light, moderate and heavy rain in different areas.

Due to this, there is a possibility of a significant decrease in the temperature during the day.

According to the Department of Meteorology, from April 27 to May 3, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in most parts of Balochistan, South Punjab, and Sindh.

From today to April 29, rain with thunder is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other areas are also likely to experience strong winds and thunder.

In Mansehra, Abbottabad, Chitral, Swat and other areas, there is a risk of flooding in local rivers from the 1st to the 4th of May.

While in some parts of Balochistan, in the mountainous areas of DG Khan, there is a risk of flooding in local rivers from 28th April to 2nd May.

Met department has also warned of a risk of landslides in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree, and Gulyat.
