PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been indicted in Toshakhana Case Reference!

Islamabad District and Sessions Courts Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar indicted former prime minister Imran Khan in Toshakhana Case Reference.

The hearing of the Toshakhana case was held at the guest house of police line headquarters where Imran Khan was presented.

Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar today summoned Imran Khan in his personal capacity to place charges against him.

The court indicted Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case, but Imran Khan refused to sign the documents and denied charges.

It may be remembered that in the previous hearing, the court had rejected the pleas relating to the admissibility and jurisdiction of the Toshakhana case.

Announcing the reserved verdict in this case on Friday, the Session Court of Islamabad dismissed Imran Khan’s two applications regarding the maintainability of the reference and summoned him in person for indictment.

Islamabad District and Sessions Courts Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar said he would charge the PTI chief and ordered him to ensure his presence in his courtroom.

The ECP last year in November sent Toshakhana (gift depository) reference to the trial court to initiate criminal proceedings against Imran Khan.

The Toshakhana reference case (officially titled reference of disqualification of Imran Khan), or the Toshakhana case, was a landmark decision by the ECP
