Breaking: Imran Khan reaches Lahore High Court
Imran Khan finally reached the Lahore High Court on Monday evening!
The Lahore High Court (LHC) had given PTI Chairman Imran Khan a last chance to appear before the Lahore High Court on Monday, in protective bail plea.
Earlier in the day, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh instructed the former prime minister to appear in court in person while hearing his protective bail petition in a case pertaining to protests outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Justice Sheikh passed the directives after Imran failed to meet the court’s order to appear in person by 2 pm today.
When the hearing resumed today after multiple suspensions, Advocate Khawaja Tariq Rahim, counsel for PTI Chairman, admitted that the bail petition was not signed by Imran Khan.
