#iorestoacasa: Italy’s PM extends restriction zone around COVID-19 to entire country
As the number of coronavirus cases in Italy shot past 9,000 on Monday, the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has put the entire country on lockdown amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Reportedly, in Italy on Monday, 463 people died because of the COVID-19 virus. While taking an extreme preventive measure Conte has extended the restriction zone to encompass the whole country and canceled all sports gatherings, reports BBC.

Over the weekend, the Italian government had quarantined the northern region of Lombardy and 14 neighboring provinces.
