JI refuses to cooperate with the PTI on K-P government formation
In the latest development on Wednesday, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) refused to cooperate with the PTI on K-P government formation.
Central Deputy Amir Liaquat Baloch confirming ongoing discussions with the PTI, revealed that the Imran-led party was willing to collaborate for government formation.
JI’s Central Naib Amir Liaqat Baloch, while speaking to Geo News, said that his party has decided that it would not join hands with the PTI as it had formed a coalition with another party at the federal level.
“There is no reason for us to ally with PTI only in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” said Baloch, adding that talks with PTI were related to both governments — federal and provincial.
