At 40.6°C, Karachi endures hottest day of year!

Karachi recorded the hottest day of the year on September 30, Saturday.

On Saturday, the temperature during the day in Karachi was recorded at 40.6°C in most places.

Whereas due to dry winds, the humidity ratio remained 13 to 15 percent and the humidity ratio in the areas near the sea was recorded 25 to 40 percent.

According to the data provided by the Pak Weather Network, the following temperatures were recorded across the city:

  • Nazimabad No. 2: 41.5 degrees
  • Chapel Sun City (Scheme 33): 41.3 degrees 
  • Azizabad (Federal B Area): 41.2 degrees 
  • Yusuf Goth (Sarjani Town): 41.1 degrees 
  • Saima Arabeen Villas (Sarjani Town): 41 degrees 
  • Gulistan Johar (Meteorological Department): 40.8 degrees 
  • Liaquatabad: 40.8 degrees 
  • North Nazimabad: 40.7 degrees 
  • Gulshan Rumi: 40.2 degrees 
  • Korangi Area: 40 degrees 
  • Federal B Area Block 14: 40 degrees 
  • Karachi Airport (Meteorological Department): 40 degrees 
  • Model Colony (Janah Avenue): 40 degrees 
  • Defense Phase 2: 39.6 degrees
  • Malir Saudabad: 39.5 degrees 
  • Saadi Town: 39.4 degrees
  • Gulshan Hadid: 39.3 degrees 
  • Bahria Town (Precinct 10A): 39.2 degrees
  • Burns Road president: 39.2 degrees 
  • Defense Phase 6: 39.1 degrees
