Motorway Rape Case: Police makes a headway as one suspect identified

A major breakthrough in the investigation of Lahore Motorway gang rape was achieved as police identified one of the suspects.  

According to the Police source, the accused’s DNA matches the woman’s clothing and 2013 database.

The suspect whose DNA matched the victim, has been identified as a 25-year-old man from Bahawalnagar who raped a mother and daughter in 2013.

As being reported, According to sources, a suspect’s DNA sample was already present in the Forensic Science Agency’s DNA bank, which matched with the samples taken from the rape victim. 

However, the criminal has not been arrested yet, according to the police. CTD  is conducting raids to arrest the accused.
