Pakistan Army officer dies from COVID-19, reports Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
So far, it is the first coronavirus casualty reported in Pakistan Army.
“Major Muhammad Asghar laid his life in the line of duty at #Torkham border in the fight against #COVID-19. Evacuated to CMH Peshawar with breathing problems, was put on a ventilator but succumbed to Corona Virus”, said DG ISPR in a Tweet.
“There is no cause bigger than serving the Nation”, DG ISPR further added.
