
Pakistan mourns the deadly Peshawar suicide attack carried out in Police Lines mosque on Monday afternoon.
The suicide attack has so far claimed 59 lives and casualties are feared to rise.
Funeral prayers of 27 martyrs were offered in Peshawar on Monday evening with Corp Commander Peshawar, IG Police, and Commandant Frontier Corps in attendance.

The national flag will fly half-mast to observe a ‘day of mourning’ today (Tuesday) in Peshawar.
As terror revisits Peshawar, hearts bleed across the country.
Pakistanis are taking to social media to extend their condolences and condemn the attack on innocent citizens during prayers in the mosque and in the name of Islam as the worst of acts.
Nobel laureate Malala Yousifzai has also condemned the attack and in a message shared on Twitter she said: “I am shattered and heartbroken that so many people lost their lives or suffered injuries in the attack on a mosque in Peshawar Police Lines. I urge the government & security forces to fight terrorism in all forms & protect every citizen. My prayers are with the victims’ families.”
