Pakistan Records 43 COVID-19 Deaths During Last 24 Hours

Pakistan during the last 34 hours has recorded 43 COVID-19 deaths taking the nationwide tally of coronavirus fatalities surged to 11,247 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 1,927 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The number of positive cases has surged to 530,818.

A total of 40,403 tests were conducted across the country during this period.

About 1,737 recoveries have been recorded across Pakistan over the past 24 hours, according to figures on the official Covid-19 portal. The total number of recoveries in Pakistan is now 484,508.

Punjab has recorded 767 new coronavirus cases and 14 casualties, according to government data.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reported 294 cases and 3 deaths, according to official data. 

Meanwhile, Balochistan has reported 19 cases. The province has reported 18,715 cases and 192 deaths in total sofar.

According to official figures, Islamabad has reported 81 new COVID-19 cases and  2 deaths.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir has reported 17 new cases and 4 deaths

While Sindh remains the worst-hit province. Till now 239,935 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
