Pakistan reports 1,303 COVID-19 cases & 47 deaths in a day
Pakistan has reported 1,303 COVID-19 cases and 47 deaths in a day.
According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Friday, the overall death toll has reached 21,576 while total cases have reached 938,737.
During the last 24 hours, 40,483 tests were conducted across the country.
The nationwide corona positivity rate on Friday stands at 3.21%.

Meanwhile, 1,874 Covid-19 recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours, according to the government’s portal for tracking the spread of the disease.
The country has reported a total of 873,543 recoveries thus far and its recovery rate over the past 24 hours has been recorded at 93.1 percent.
Region-wise breakdown of coronavirus cases and deaths is as follows:
- Punjab: 247 Covid-19 cases and 21 fatalities
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 221 new Covid-19 cases and 9 deaths
- Balochistan: 32 coronavirus cases and one death
- Islamabad: 68 cases, 1 death
- AJK: 52 cases, 1 death
- GB: 8 cases, 1 death
