People are calling out Priyanka Chopra for speaking about #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd but not Indian minorities

People are calling out Priyanka Chopra for speaking about #GeorgeFloyd and not minorities in India on social media.
This not for the first time Mrs. Jonas is found highlighting a selective narrative. It was last year she was criticized for gaslighting a young Pakistani activist for questioning her over her pro-war stance.
Indian actress right after the murder of 46-year-old African American George Floyd took to social media flaunting her concern over the matter and calling for action against racism and police brutality in the US.
In her post, she wrote: “There is so much work to be done and it needs to starts at an individual level on a global scale. We all have a responsibility to educate ourselves and end this hate. End this race war here in the US, and around the world. Wherever you live, whatever your circumstances, NO ONE deserves to die, especially at the hands of another because of their skin color. ”

Former Miss World and former UN Goodwill Ambassador, further added, “On May 25th, George Floyd was pinned down by the neck by a Minneapolis police officer and died. He laid there, fighting for his life, struggling to breathe, and other officers just stood there and watched. The officer has now been charged with murder.
George, I am praying for your family.

And as soon her post was up people came out calling the actress for being a hypocrite as she has never spoken a word about the suffering minorities in India:
Priyanka must be the most hypocrite actress ever.

1. Keep quiet about anti-Dalit atrocities in India but talks about racism in US
2. Plays minority & brown card in US but sells fairness cream in India, Hardly talks about colorism/castism in Bollywood https://t.co/xh0YAWpVCl

Priyanka didn't raise voice on the Delhi pogrom, Akhlaq lynching, Rohit Vemula murder, Najeeb Ahmed etc. The only reason the likes of Priyanka show support to Afro-American struggle in US is cause they know it opens up opportunities for them in US liberal spaces. 3/5

Interesting to see “woke” celebrities in India speak out against police atrocities and George Floyd’s death all the way across in America, but the same celebs lose their voice when there are police excesses at home; when people are lynched, communities targeted.

Priyanka Chopra posting about police brutality in USA and not too long ago she was celebrating KPS Gill for doing the same in Punjab? I have never seen a celebrity this tone deaf.

How could you not see our people being killed by Police and then asked to sing National Anthem? @PMOIndia How long will you take to prosecute these monsters in uniform? @priyankachopra Do Indian muslims' lives matter? I hope you answer. pic.twitter.com/b8T3mgSuhp
Shame on every "Indian" who kept mum when India was in turmoil but comes out to speak against the US.
