PTI will be resuming its long march to Islamabad from Wazirabad on Tuesday!
PTI Chairman Imran Khan made the announcement on Sunday while addressing a presser at the Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore.
PTI chief Imran Khan said that his party will be resuming its march to Islamabad on Tuesday and he will join the protestors from Rawalpindi.
“We will start the march from Tuesday. I will address every day,” said Khan from the hospital.
He added that he will lead the march from Rawalpindi when it arrives in 10-15 days.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan reiterated that he holds responsible three men for the attack on his long march container, saying that he has every right to have them nominated in the FIR.
“I fully believe that these three have done this (attack) through a conspiracy. It’s my right [to register case]. I’m the leader of the biggest political party and ex-PM and if I can’t get his name in the FIR then I ask what [rights can be expected] for the nation and for the common man?”
He said that authorities in Punjab are refusing to file an FIR over the attack on his container unless he removes the military official’s name from it.
“It’s been three days and the Punjab government — which is a coalition government — but despite that, we have not been able to register an FIR because they say ‘it’s okay we are ready [to file] against the PM and Interior Minister but you can’t do it for that army general, Major Faisal.’”
Addressing a presser from the hospital, PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that “Shehbaz Sharif spoke of the judicial commission and I welcome this but my first point is that would it do? When all the agencies come under the three people I’ve named, who will investigate?
“How can we have an impartial and fair investigation? It cant happen. That’s why I asked them to resign so the investigation can be fair.”
“My first point is what will the judicial commission do when the three people I named are the ones who will head the investigation,” Imran Khan said.
He added that he sought the interior minister, prime minister, and a military official’s resignation as he wants “transparent investigations because there is an entire pattern”.
“First, video surfaces that I’m committing blasphemy, it should be probed in the investigations. The video is then highlighted by a journalist affiliated with a political party. After this, a press conference is held by Maryam Safdar, Marriyum Aurangzeb, and Javed Latif and they say that I committed blasphemy,” he added.
The PTI chief said that he was seeking an FIR against the three people he named as he was aware that they wanted to murder him just like Salman Taseer.
The former prime minister questioned how did it happen that the gunman’s interview was leaked despite PTI having a government in Punjab.
“We ask the police and they say they were under pressure, when we ask the IG, he says it was hacked,” Imran Khan said.
The former prime minister also demanded that a judicial commission be formed to probe Arshad Sharif’s murder.
