PTI’s senior leaders blame head coach, PCB for recent defeat in Australia

Pakistan’s poor performance against Australia now being discussed by the high profile government officials as well.

Naeemul Haq, Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan took to social media bashing head coach of Pakistan team for the poor performance, demanding a change of coach and chief selector.

In a tweet, Naeemul Haq wrote, “Terrible continuous performance by our team in Australia needs a change of the coach/chief selector. There is not even a slight hope for a decent performance”.

After Naeemul Haq, Federal Minister Ali Zaidi also tool to social media speaking against the head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq in wake of Pakistan’s terrible performance in Australia.

In a series of Tweets, PTI’s senior official commented that he had not spoken up on the issue earlier as the team was already selected and was on its way to Australia. And questioned PCB for dropping Sarfaraz from the national team.

Ali Zaidi said, “I opted to stay quiet earlier as the team had already been selected & was on its way to Australia. But in all honesty, what the heck was PCB thinking dropping @SarfarazA_54 from the team? He single-handedly lead us to be the number 1 team in T-20 plus won us the champions trophy”.

Furthermore, Ali Zaidi rooted for former skipper said, “He beat the Indians 2ice in an ICC event & has been the most successful captain for Pakistan in recent years! Every1 smelt something fishy when @SarfarazA_54 was dropped by Misbah/Waqar duo who’s disliking of him is known to all. Their liking/disliking has cost Pakistan dearly”.

Seems like federal minister is not the only one who sense something fishy the decision removing Sarfaraz entirely form the national team.

“Groupings in teams are common but it is kept under wraps & the leadership at PCB should address the issues at a much earlier stage. Sadly, this time they have come out in the open at the cost of Pakistan’s performance. It is time to take some tough decisions at all levels”, he further added.
