Security forces kill eight terrorists including Mir Ali attack perpetrator in North Waziristan

According to the ISPR, sanitisation operations were being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

Security forces have killed eight terrorists including the Mir Ali attack perpetrator in North Waziristan.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Monday notified that “During the conduct of the operation, after intense fire exchange, eight terrorists including HVT Terrorist commander Sehra @Janan were sent to hell. He was involved in orchestrating the terrorist attack on the Security Forces’ Post in Mir Ali on 16 March and was highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies.”

“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area as the Security Forces of Pakistan remain determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the ISPR added.

On Saturday, A Pakistan Army lieutenant colonel and a captain were among seven martyred after a group of terrorists attacked a security forces’ post in Mir Ali.

ISPR in a statement said that in the early hours of March 16, 2024, a group of six terrorists attacked a security forces’ post in the general area of Mir Ali of North Waziristan District.

The martyred included Havildar Sabir (resident of District Khyber), Naik Khurshid (resident of District Lakki Marwat), Sepoy Nasir (resident of District Peshawar), Sepoy Raja (resident of District Kohat) and Sepoy Sajjad (resident of District Abbottabad).

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali, who was leading his troops from the front, and 23-year-old Captain Muhammad Ahmed Badar paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat during an intense exchange of fire with the terrorists, ISPR said.
