After Rihanna, Oscar-winning Hollywood actress Susan Sarandon voices her support for the ongoing farmers’ protests in India.
Veteran actress took to social media and shared a new piece of The New York Times headlining “Why Are Farmers Protesting in India?” on Twitter.

A number of international celebrities, political leaders, and activists — including Swedish teen climate activist Greta Thunberg, Meena Harris, an American lawyer and niece of US Vice President Kamala Harris, actor Amanda Cerni, singers Jay Sean, Dr. Zeus, and former adult star Mia Khalifa — have voiced their support the protesting farmers.
A few days earlier, US pop singer Rihanna’s social media post started a wave of global support for Indian farmers who are protesting against the farm laws passed in September.
