Ukrainian President Zelenskiy named Time’s 2022 ‘Person of the Year’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr has been named Time’s 2022 ‘Person of the Year’!

The famous American magazine announced its annual “Person of the Year” on Wednesday and gave this honor to the Ukrainian president.

Time Magazine announces its ‘Person of the Year’ every year at the beginning of December.

The magazine has recognized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy as ‘Person of the Year’ for his services.

The magazine has set Vladimir Zelensky’s photo on the cover and also praised his actions for the homeland after the Russian invasion.

The journal named Volodymyr Zelenskyy as ‘Person of the Year’ and wrote that the Ukrainian president showed courage and persuaded the people of his country to stand up against Russian aggression.

 


In addition to Vladimir Zelensky, the women protesting against the government in Iran, the Chinese president and the US Supreme Court were also nominated for ‘Person of the Year’ by Time magazine this year.

Every year, Time Magazine honors more than one person, including an institution or personality, as ‘Person of the Year’.

Last year, Time Magazine named Twitter owner Elon Musk as ‘Person of the Year’.

While earlier in 2020, US President Joe Biden and US Vice President Kamala Harris were given this honor.
