Hassan Ali shares excitement over his inclusion in Test squad

Pakistan is all set to start the third cycle of the ICC World Test Championship next month in Sri Lanka. 

Hassan Ali is excited about his inclusion in the Test squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.

The right-arm fast bowler in a tweet said, “Shukar Alhamdulilah!! So happy to be back in the Pakistan Test team for the Sri Lanka series. Looking forward to give my 100% and start the WTC 2023-25 campaign with new goals.”

Hassan was part of Pakistan’s last Test series against New Zealand earlier this year.

However, he played the second Test of two-match series in Karachi and took just a single wicket.

He has been playing county cricket for Warwickshire and has so far played five games and taken 22 wickets.

On Saturday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a 16-member squad for two Tests against Sri Lanka.

The squad includes Mohammad Hurraira and Aamer Jamal who have been given their maiden Test call-up. While Shaheen Shah Afridi has made his comeback to the Test squad.

Pakistan is all set to start the third cycle of the ICC World Test Championship next month in Sri Lanka.
