Big Bash League: Imad Wasim has joined Melbourne Renegades as an overseas player

Imad Wasim will join Melbourne Renegades on 26th December as their fifth overseas player after Tahir, Rossouw, Noor Ahmed, and Nabi.

Melbourne Renegades have confirmed the signing of Imad Wasim.

Terming Imad as one of the best T20 players in the world Melbourne Renegades’s coach Michael Klinger said,

“He’s capable of bowling in the powerplay and he’ll strengthen our middle-order batting.”

 

As being reported, Imad Wasim has received his No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Imad Wasim will join the Renegades from December 26 after the T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand

The 31-year-old Pakistani all-rounder had tremendous success in T20 cricket this year – having already won the T20 Blast and PSL with Nottinghamshire and Karachi Kings respectively.
