Sri Lanka head coach Mickey Arthur and player Lahiru Thrimanne test positive for COVID-19
Sri Lanka head coach Mickey Arthur and Lahiru Thrimanne have tested positive for COVID-19.
Both have been directed to follow the Sri Lankan Government’s health protocol laid out on Covid 19.
The development has left Sri Lanka’s tour of the West Indies, which was originally scheduled to start from February 20, in jeopready.
As being reported, SLC is exploring the possibility of rescheduling the Tour of West Indies, considering the current situation.
Lahiru Thrimann, in a tweet, shared his health update. He said, “Hi guys got the news that I’m positive for covid 19. I have got zero symptoms and I still don’t know where I infected the virus. But I have been informed authorities necessary details to prevent it going to others. Stay safe people.“

The development comes following PCR Tests carried out on the Provisional Squad, which was preparing to take part in the National Team’s upcoming tour of West Indies.
