Nida Dar signs for WBBL’s Sydney Thunder

Nida Dar has been snapped up by Women Big Bash League’s side Sydney Thunders. The all-rounder becomes the 1^st Pakistani woman to sign for an international cricket league.

Nida has been in imperious form in recent times and was the star performer in Pakistan’s series against South Africa. She picked up five wickets and scored 192 runs. She has been part of the Pakistan side for almost a decade.

Her hard-hitting batting would have been a big pull for the Sydney Thunders. She has the highest strike rate amongst the current Pakistani batting line up.

Fans would be hoping to see her star-performer Afridi like celebrations in the BBL.
