The green team is all set to lock horns with the arch-rivals India in their second Super-4 match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 on Sunday in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Pakistan has opted for the same playing XI — which faced Bangladesh on Wednesday — for the match against India.

Pakistan playing XI:

Babar Azam (c), Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Agha Salman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf.

Pakistan beat Bangladesh by seven wickets in their first Super Four match, and not Green team will look forward to continuing their excellent form in the Asia Cup amid rain predictions.

If the remaining Super 4 matches are washed out, Pakistan will qualify for the final with its four points.

The previous group-stage clash between Pakistan and India was washed out amid heavy rain in Pallekele on September 2.

Amid the rain forecast, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced a reserve day for the much anticipated Pakistan vs. India Super-4 clash in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023.

And in case, if the match is not completed due to rain then the match will continue on September 11 from the point it was suspended on September 10.

However, the ACC is being slammed for announcing a reserve day for only the Inda-Pakistan match.
