Ghazi Maqbool Hussain National Hero Of Pakistan

In year 1965, the war between 2 nations begins in Srinagar, he got disappeared and declared missing and remained missing for the decades. He was actually captured by Indian armed forces.

He was brutally abused through the time of his imprisonment.

In 2005, he returned to Pakistan in prisoner exchange program. His name is MAQBOOL HUSSAIN an army sapoy, who was forced to disclose country’s secrets to the Indian agencies.

In the name of country he cuts his own tongue but didn’t reveal any secret to the enemy.

He lost his mental balance because of the cruel detention and torture in India.

On the walls of his prison he wrote “Pakistan Zindabad” with his blood. He only remembered his identity as “No. 335139” and forgot about his own identity.

He was awarded Sitara-e-Jurat for his loyalty to the country.

Ghazi Maqbool Hussain passed away on 28 August 2018.
