Hajra Khan launched her memoir titled “WHERE THE OPIUM GROWS: Surviving Pakistan as a Woman, an Actress And Knowing Imran Khan,” which was not permitted to get published in the country in 2014.

In a lavish ceremony held in Islamabad on Friday, Hajra Khan Panezai, a Pakistani television and film actor, launched the original version of her 2014 book that carries some explosive allegations against former prime minister Imran Khan.

Accourding to her she couldn’t publish her book in the UK when she went to London in 2014 due to libel laws however, when she went to America she published a skimmed version on Kindle to avoid a defamation lawsuit in the US.

Panezai called Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan a “liar and a wicked person” while speaking about her autobiography, claiming she was just friends with Khan.

Panezai not only accused the PTI Chairman of consuming cocaine but also called him a very different person in his private life.

The snippets from the book launch ceremony are now doing rounds on social media where responding to a question,  the model also alleged that the accusations of a 21-year-old girl becoming pregnant due to sexual relations with Imran Khan were “200%” true.
