Akon Performs Umrah During Tour to Saudi Arabia

American singer Akon who was recently in Saudi Arabia for a music tour also performed Umrah. The photos of the singer are circulating on the internet where he can be seen in Ehram – the mandatory dress for the pilgrimage.

Akon earlier visited Dammam where he had a concert for the masses in the gradually liberating country. After that, the 46-year old went to Makkah reportedly with his family.

Not known to many, Akon’s family is partly Muslim as he was born into a black-Muslim family. The singer has though rarely but credited his faith for his success in life.
