Aced Hollywood comedian Jim Carrey who has entertained us with his acting for decades is turning to the world of writing. With his first fiction novel Memoirs and Misinformation, Jim is all set to become a novelist.
Co-authored with Dana Vachon, Jim’s novel will be based on acting, romance, comedy and other genres the 57-year old is accustomed to. Set to be released in May by Alfred A. Knopf, the novel is dubbed as “fearless and semi-autobiographical deconstruction of persona” by the publisher.
In addition to the tiny deets that we have on the upcoming book, Carrey himself is tagging a semi-disclaimer with the book. “None of this is real and all of it is true”, he says as he intrigues the fan a little more.
Jim Carrey who has starred in hits like The Mask, Liar Liar and Dumb and Dumber isn’t the first actor to turn to literary world. Earlier Tom Hanks too published a novel “Uncommon Types” in 2017.
