Madhuri Dixit pays tribute to Sridevi with her performance at Lux Golden Rose Awards

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit has paid a tribute to late actor Sridevi by performing to her songs at the event. It was surely a treat for Madhuri’s fans to watch her performing on the stage.

Madhuri also performed on Hema Malini’s iconic song Dreamgirl and also on Helen’s Yeh Mera Dil. And also on her song Tuma Tuma.

While talking to media earlier, Madhuri said, “The Lux legends are truly iconic and inspirational, and my performance is purely to take fans down memory lane while reveling and celebrating their magic.

In another video clip available on Instagram Aishwarya is praising Madhuri’s performance after accepting an award. She said, “Madhuri your performance was amazing, we love you! The tribute to Sri Ji, we love you and miss you. God bless as you smile down upon us”.

Before the awards, reporters asked Madhuri several questions upon her arrival. They ask her about Kareena Kapoor was also wearing a same pink colour dress like her. She replied with a charming smile, “Bright minds think alike”.

And also asked whether she will be attending Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding reception or Priyanka Chopra’s wedding as both the events are reported to be falling on the same day.

Earlier, taking about her performance at the awards, Madhuri said that she is excited for her performance. “When I was approached to do this performance, it left me both overwhelmed and excited. Given that the Awards are supporting the HeforShe movement, I thought it was also time for the women, especially in Bollywood, to celebrate each other and express solidarity with each other”.
