The revelation by the famous cleric was made in a podcast interview hosted by Nadir Ali.
Renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq claimed that Bollywood icon Salman Khan and his family are among the avid listeners of his speeches.
Maulana narrated a story of his friend who told him that Salman Khan is a fan of Maulana Tariq Jameel.
“My friend had gone to India to meet his business partner, and his partner offered him an opportunity to meet Salman Khan face to face.”
“His Indian partner made a call to Salman and said a guest from Pakistan wanted to meet him,” Taria Jamil said quoting his friend. “Salman replied that have Maulana Tariq Jameel come to India.”
He added that when his friend asked Salman Khan if he knew who Tariq Jameel was, the actor showed a collection of CDs of Maulana’s sermons at his home.
He went on to add that not only Salman himself but his sisters also listen to his speeches.
