Pakistani makeup artist and stylist Shoaib Khan, known for his next-level beauty skills and epic transformations, has once again stunned fans with his latest creation. This time, he recreated Deepika Padukone’s look for her latest film, Chhappak, which is based on the true story of a woman who tries to rebuild her life after a man throws acid in her face.
Sharing the inspiring transformation on Instagram, Shoaib Khan also penned a heartfelt note, giving out a strong message to acid attack survivors around the world.
”Glisten your face with ruby lipstick. Gather your hair to one side so the details of your face become more visible. And SMILE!No one can maim or embarrass you! Don’t hide your scars, instead, flaunt them like a superpower! You’re beautiful and you’ll always be beautiful,” he wrote giving hope to acid attack survivors.
The stylist also brought attention to how damaging acid burns can be in his lengthy post. “Acid can severely burn flesh in just 30 seconds, destroying eyelids, ears and noses and whatever comes in contact with it.”
“It was really hard for me to look in the mirror after I recreated this look. I got to realize the pain, the trauma, all these survivors suffer from,’ he added sharing his true feelings after creating this heart-wrenching look.
Shoaib also showered praises on Deepika for raising awareness on the acid attack issue through her film Chappak and giving motivation to the survivors to shine through in life and move forward with determination.
“I love you Deepika for raising awareness on this issue through Chhappak and giving motivation to all these survivors to shine through their grit and determination and move forward in life! You’re my true star,” he wrote concluding the post.
